How to read the Grapevine

There are many ways to read the Grapevine other than the obvious method of simply grabbing a copy from one of the many shops and premises in and around Lampeter that kindly help us distribute over 2,500 copies per month.

However, if you cannot, or do not want to, access the printed version then we do provide a free  pdf version for you to download and read. If you fancy giving this a go then there are a couple of places to find a download copy and even more ways to actually read it - here are a few links and tips but remember, there is no right or wrong way, just the one that works for you.

The best place to download a pdf is from this website - the most recent copy can be accessed from our Home page and some back copies can be found on the Theme page here.

Obviously you can print a pdf copy at home but remember it is usually 40 pages of A4 and you might not want all printed - please think of the environment before printing.

You can read a pdf  download in the viewer that is installed on most computers, Smartphones and Tablets but we find the best experience is to send/save the pdf to Kindle. You don't have to have a Kindle device, the Kindle App for Apple or Android works equally well.

If you have an Apple device then the iBooks App is also a good user experience - simply import the pdf.

We publish  all issues on a website called issuu - you don't need an account to access the site, just type 'Lampeter Grapevine' into the Search box at the top of the page and you will see all the back issues. The issuu website provides a nice page turning experience and if you use a Smartphone or Tablet they have an App you can download - to use the App you will need to Log In but creating an account is free. The only drawback of issue is that you cannot download a copy for future reading - you have to be connected to the interwebbything to read it.

If you find all this too technical I recommend finding somebody born this century - that's what I do!
