Lampeter Grapevine
The Lampeter Grapevine is a community newsletter and one of the original themed groups that grew out of Transition Llambed - a community organisation formed in 2007 and part of the global Transition Movement.
Eight times a year, a busy band of volunteers collate, edit, proof-read and distribute over 2,500 free copies within Lampeter and the surrounding communities - all printed on paper from sustainable resources.
Transition Llambed Development Trust
Transition Llambed Development Trust was formed from Transition Llambed, a branch of the Transition Network, a movement of communities uniting to build a sustainable future. Primarily formed to perform the daily running of the Victoria Hall, the Trust oversee the function of a diverse set of community projects.

Our vision is to develop and promote positive possibilities by using creative ways to engage and involve people in building resilient communities. In the process we introduce communities to alternative ways to create a sustainable future without the use of fossil fuels.
University of Wales Trinity Saint David
The University of Wales Trinity Saint David campus is a breathtaking sight. Founded in 1822, UWTSD Lampeter is Wales' oldest university. Although the setting is historic, and the halls filled with nearly 200 years of academic learning, the thinking and teaching at UWTSD's Lampeter Campus is inspiring and new.

The University is a part of the town and supports the Lampeter Grapevine by sponsoring the printing costs.
Victoria Hall
The Victoria Hall was opened in 1905 and has gone through many changes in over 100 years of operation. It is now leased from the Ceredigion County Council and managed by the Transition Llambed Development Trust.
The Hall is a venue for many community activities and groups as well as the world famous People's Market held on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month from 10:00 to 13:00.
The Hall has recently attracted a large European grant that will allow for its development as a Community Arts Venue.
